Log in to Instagram from a web browser
Log in to the Instagram account you want to delete or disable. You have to use a web browser as the app does not have this option.

You can back up your Instagram posts by saving them from your web browser.
- Open your Instagram Profile.
- Choose the gear icon.
- Go to Privacy and Security.
- Look for a section titled Data Download.
- Click Request Download.
- You will be prompted for an email address. Instagram will send a link to this email to download your post data within 48 hours. Enter the email address you want to use.
- Confirm your Instagram password.
- When the email arrives, click Download Data.
