This Chocolate Bunny Screams When Eaten Using Elegoo Mega 2560 R3

By admin ·

Hopping down the maker’s trail this Easter is Repeated Failure with the most hilarious chocolate bunny project we’ve ever seen. This silly and somewhat horrifying chocolate development was created as a gift for his unsuspecting brother.

Whenever a bite is taken out of the chocolate rabbit, an Elegoo microcontroller triggers various audio files of terrified screams and other startling soundbites. If you’ve felt bad eating chocolate bunnies before, prepare to take the experience to a whole new level.

Chocolate screams to haunt your dreams

It’s not enough that it screams when eaten, this bunny is engineered to play different sound clips in response to the devouring of each body part. Biting the head vs his tail end will result in two totally different but really funny responses.

The circuits were pressed into the chocolate using an edible silver leaf sheet. Taking a bite completes the circuit and triggers the custom soundbite.

It’s not clear what hardware is used throughout the entire project. An Elegoo Mega 2560 R3 is used as the main microcontroller. A speaker module and battery pack is visible, as well.
