Connect To Pc With Airlink
Whether you want to include those around you or plan to record gameplay for content, being able to connect your Oculus Quest 2 to a computer is important. Thankfully, there are multiple ways to connect your VR headset to a PC, all provided by Oculus themselves!
This guide will walk you through connecting your Quest 2 to your PC, wirelessly, with Airlink. This is the best method for those wanting to quickly connect and stream the Oculus Quest 2 to a PC. In case you can’t get Airlink to work, you can also try connecting and streaming through the Oculus website.
If you want to use a wired connection to stream the Quest 2 to a PC computer, check out this guide!
Install the Oculus app
Go to www.oculus.com/setup and scroll down until you see the Download Software button beneath the “Air Link and Link Cable” header. Click the button and download the .exe file.
Once it’s finished downloading onto your computer, open the Oculus Setup file. You’ll be brought through the typical first-time setup that most programs have; such as reviewing terms and conditions, where to install the app, etc.
Connect to Wi-Fi
For both the PC and the Quest 2 headset, make sure they’re connected to the same Wi-Fi network! You can double-check what network your headset is connected to by clicking “Quick Settings” in the toolbar on the bottom of the UI.
Enable Airlink
Airlink is the built-in connector between the PC and the Quest 2. In order to activate Airlink, follow these steps:
- Open “Quick Settings” from the toolbar, then click “Settings” on the top right.
- Go to “Experimental”

- Hit “Continue”
Open Airlink
To activate and open Airlink, go to Quick Settings and click the “Oculus Airlink” button. Then choose to pair with your PC from the list provided.
