This short guide shows you how to disable the additional Mac menu bars, docks, and toolbars that now come as a part of Apple’s macOS.

Open System Preferences

Select the Apple icon in your toolbar and select System Preferences.

Select Mission Control

Uncheck “Displays have separate Spaces” and close system preferences

You must close the system preferences window before logging out to save your changes.

Log out and log back in

You must log out and log back in to apply the change. You will now have only one toolbar and one dock.
