Change Your Belkin Wifi Password

Open a web browser

Open any web browser of your choosing (Chrome, Firefox, etc). As long as the device you’re using is connected to the Belkin network to which you want to make changes.

Access the router web interface

In the address bar, navigate to http://router or use the IP address of your router. The default IP address for Belkin devices is 192.168.2.1.

Log in to the router

You will be prompted to log into the web interface. Enter your current admin username and password. If you’ve never set a password, the field can be left blank.

Access WiFi settings

Once you’ve logged in, select Security in the left-hand navigation panel.

Set a new WiFi password

On this screen, you can make all kinds of Wi-Fi setting adjustments—including a new password. Enter a custom PSK or passphrase of your choosing, and click Apply Changes.
